ABOUT EXPOL EARTH
Welcome to the EXPOL Earth resource centre. Where you can learn more about the sustainable practices at EXPOL and our commitment to the environment.
We are proud to responsibly manufacture products that help Kiwi's live in dryer, warmer and more energy efficient homes.
We are also proud to be managing our impact on the planet by recycling both our own and other waste polystyrene in New Zealand. Turning old products into new in a true closed loop system. Reducing landfill and repeatedly reusing base material.
Look out for the EXPOL Earth logo on our packaging. This logo is our guarantee that the product you are purchasing contains recycled content and/or can be fully recycled by EXPOL.

Our Story
EXPOL has been transforming polystyrene waste into high-performance building products for decades. From household recycling to commercial waste, our mission is to create sustainable solutions that make a real difference for New Zealand homes and the planet.
We believe in a true closed-loop system: waste is collected, recycled, and turned into products that can be reused again, reducing landfill and repeatedly reusing base materials.
Our Mission
To provide sustainable building solutions while protecting the environment. We focus on:
Recycling polystyrene from households, builders, and commercial sites.
Producing high-quality insulation and building products with recycled content.
Educating the community on the benefits of sustainable construction and recycling.
