RECYCLING

The key initiative in our commitment to the environment is the process of recycling of polystyrene in New Zealand.   We recycle 400 tons of polystyrene a year through our 7 recycling plants nationwide!

In a true closed loop system this recycled product is used to create brand new EXPOL products which are also recyclable.

Watch our recycling video or read below to see how you can recycle your polystyrene waste with EXPOL.

THE EXPOL RECYCLING PROCESS

The recycling process takes the polystyrene to be recycled and breaks it down in pieces of polystyrene that then can be made introduced into products we manufacture.

We also produce blocks of recycled polystyrene which are then used to manufacture EXPOL StyroDrain a 100% recycled drainage board.
